Hi, I'm Issa, a 25-year-old physics graduate from Libya. I got my B.Sc. from Leipzig University in 2023, and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science. Besides my studies, I'm also passionate about videography and video editing. I started my journey with videos when I was 16, and this website showcases some of my work over the years.

Leipzig Christmas Market

On my first Christmas in Germany, I decided to make a cinematic video starring a friend of mine who was an Erasmus student in the city at the time. It was the first video I made in Germany after a long pause.

Huss Group is an entertainment company based in Leipzig, Germany, that focuses mainly on events, laser tag, paintball, and other various in-person interactive games. I was hired as a freelancer to produce videos that inform about different departments of the group.

As a freelancer at ICON Media Company in Tripoli, Libya, I was responsible for editing promotional campaign videos for various student clubs at Plateforme Pédagogique Tripoli. Plateforme Pédagogique Tripoli is a private school following the French curriculum.

Sustainability in Libyan Campaign

Benustainability in Libya was an awareness campaign that tries to educate people about sustainable development goals, what they are, why we have them, and how we can achieve them. Led by Mahmoud Ben, I was an organizer and an editor for the campaign.

ShakeUp Commercial

Shake Up is a smoothie chain store in Tripoli, Libya. As a freelancer, I was assigned to film and edit their Ramadan advertisement video for their campaign in 2019.

Amen Family Wedding

Trying a different take on wedding videos, this video was for documenting the wedding of Amen's family, where I was responsible for filming and editing alongside Siraj Arrab as a second videographer.

2 Guys Burger Commercial

2Guys Burger was a popular burger place in Tripoli, Libya. I had a fun, simple commercial idea that me and some friends suggested for them in exchange for some food. The main actor in this video sadly passed away as a result of civil conflicts in Libya between militias in 2021. May he rest in peace, as he was one of the funniest and most caring people.

HyperLapse Tripoli

In 2019, I tried to experiment with filming and editing a short hyperlapse video in Tripoli's city center using frame-by-frame shooting.
